Tu-Tu Cute!

Well we had a really fun weekend out in Pioche. Aunt Kimber made the girls some Tu-Tu's and they turned out sooo cute! Here is Sophie sporting hers. Bailey loved hers so much, she wore it everyday all day, during her nap, at meal time, playtime and she tried to wear it while she took her bath, but that's where I drew the line. We also blessed Sophie while we were out there but I was so frazzled that I forgot to take any pictures, so I am in the process of gathering them from other sources. I will post them when I get them. Her dress was soo pretty and she was way cute. I also added just some fun pictures.

Bailey loves her Uncle Chris, the poor guy was bossed around by her all weekend... he handled it well.

My cute little Sophie!

I cant believe how big Bailey is getting!

This is Kiesha (the dog) and Bailey loves her.

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy thanksgiving! It has been a good holiday for us. We headed out to Pioche for the weekend. Its nice to get out of the city every once in a while. Hope you all enjoy your holiday!

So I have been really into making hair things lately. I mainly do flower clips but I found a picture of this turkey clip (if you couldn't tell what it was) in a magazine and I just couldn't resist I had to make it. I thought it turned out cute and even though it can really only be worn once a year it was totally worth it.
Sophie pimping it in her Thanksgiving outfit that her Papa bought her.

So it is quite a bit colder in Pioche then Vegas and Bailey wanted to go for a four wheeler ride so we bundled up and Kyle took her out. Due to the for layers of clothing she couldn't really move, it was pretty funny. This is her trying to wave, that was the most she could move her arms.

A funny story

So I think that the lack of sleep that comes with a new born has finally caught up with Kyle. Last night he took the first shift and I took the next one. I had just put Sophie down and was getting into bed when Kyle rolled over and asked me if I wanted the garbage cans turned off. I just kind of looked at him and asked "the garbage cans?" just to make sure I heard him right and he was like "ya the garbage cans do you want them turned off?" I didn't really know what to say to him so I just kind of stood there and he rolled over and turned off Baileys monitor and went back to sleep. It made me laugh and I still smile just thinking about it. No matter what Kyle says it really did happen!

IT'S A GIRL!!!
Sophie Jayde
Born 2:49 on 11-07-08
6lbs 13oz 19in Long
On Friday we welcomed our new little one into the world. I went in Thursday day night for an induction and Sophie was born around 3 the next day. Everything went really well. At one point she decided to scare us all and her heart beat dropped and they were about ready to take me in for a c-section and get her out but at the last minute her heart beat picked back up and after that all went well. It turned out that she was all wrapped up in the cord and had actually grabbed onto it with her hand. So as far as giving birth goes it was actually a really good experience. I loved my nurses and my doctor. I have been trying to get pictures up everyday and just haven't made it. These are just a few, I will try to get some more up in the next few days.
Here we are getting ready to go to the hospital.
I love my mom, she is a lifesaver! She came down and spent the week with us. She just left today. I tried to convince her she should just move in but something about my dad needing her... I don't know.
My favorite part is when they hand you the baby all bundled up and you just get to snuggle for a few minutes!
Kyles parents came down and took care of Bailey. They are awesome and Bailey loves to spend time with them. (She likes to be spoiled!) It was great having them they really helped out.
Its been nice being home.

Kyle and his girls!!

Bailey is such a good big sister. She loves the baby and is really gentle with her. I was a little worried about how she would react but I think shes going to be okay.
Bailey was holding Sophie and talking to her and gave her her blanket and let her hold her dog, (Fruff) and baby doll.
Okay so this basically the same picture but I love Baileys super cheesy grin! We have been so blessed.

Halloween

Well we had a very eventful Halloween. We started the day out with a birthday party at the park. Her little nursery friend turned two and her birthday is on Halloween so they had a costume party. Bailey went as a ballerina. Luckily she has some fun dress up clothes that we used because it was way to hot for her official costume. Plus the park had water features and that was the first place she went, she loves water. It was fun. I tried to take some pictures but as you can tell she doesn't like to cooperate much. After the party at the park we went to Bass Pro Shop. Bailey loves that store, mainly because she loves to look at the fish. Her Ballerina outfit got so wet that of course we had to put on a new outfit.

Bailey loves her daddy!

The store had some tables set up for little kids to paint pumpkins so we stopped in and Bailey painted her a pumpkin. She painted it all by herself and I would have to say she did a pretty good job, maybe she has some of her grandmas artistic talents... we can always hope.

We ended the day with our wards trunk or treat. Bailey fell asleep as we drove there which for those of you who know how well I wake up, ya she pretty much is the same so it was a little rough at first but she eventually got over it. Her official costume was a care bear, so cute! She didn't love the hood so it was on and off all night. For those of you who are wondering what my costume was don't worry Kyle didn't get it either. I was obviously a basketball player... Kyle told me it just looked like I was comfy, which I confess was my main concern. Trying to find a costume when you are 9 months prego, not the easiest thing to do plus I have never been one for dressing up too much anyways. Her daddy took her around while I handed out the candy.

Happy Halloween!
