A Birthday Marathon !

So in our family we have one birthday a month, except September, from July until December. Kyles is in July, then Bailey's in August, then mine is in October, Sophie's is November and Daxton's is December. So we are officially all birthday ed out.

Bailey turned four years old this year!! She is getting to be all grown up. Can you believe she is going to be in Kindergarten next year!? I cant, I am way too young for that...:) We had a little party at home with the family and then that weekend we took her to chuck-e-cheeses. Oh ya, for those of you who have not yet experienced the joy that is chuck e cheese, its a party! Our cousin Cassidys birthday is just a few days apart from Baileys so we met my sister there and had a double party. Uncle Chris and Aunt Kimber also came, Bailey loves them so much! Apon leaving Chris declared he would "never" take his kids to "that" place! I just have to smile, you'd be suprised what you will do for your children. It was all she wanted to do, and she still talks about when we went to Chuck E Cheeses.

Oh ya... I went all out on her cake this year.... Hey at least it was pink, which is all she really cared about. What you cant see is that the inside was like a heath cake... with the carmel and sweetened condenses milk melted into it. So at least it tasted good!

Blowing out her candles!

Such a cutie!

One fun thing about living up here is that we live about five minutes from IKEA. Which., if you have never been there, is such a fun store! Bailey loves to draw and paint so we got her an esle and art supplies so she could draw to her hearts content. I glad we got it, its been a really fun thing to have.
Then I had my birthday, no pictures necessary... yea, I got older...
Then Sophie had her birthday!

Ok so it is obvious that I am not a cake decorator... That was susposed to be purple lettering, but it came out more greyish....

Oh my Sophie.. she is so much fun! She loves to tackle daddy, paly hide and seek (you put a blanket over her and then you have to find her) and she loves to do what ever her big sister does! We had a fun party for her at the house and Uncle Chris, Aunt Kimber, Uncle Richard and Aunt Jessica all came! It was fun.

Later we took her to feed the fish at Cabellas, which is one of her favorite things to do.

So the cake wasnt that pretty on the outside, but the inside was pretty pimp, if I do say so myself! I found this recipe on line and Kyle helped me make it. It was pretty tastey too.

Sophie is quite the dadys girl! Whenever she gets upset at me she will start crying, "I want daddy!" To which I can only reply me too!

So at least I thought the cake was yummy!
Last but not least...
Look who just turn ONE!
Thats right, this handsome little devil is now one years old, and he is running around like crazy!

Here he is with the traditional "ice cream cone cupcake"

Considering I just handed it to him and let him go to town he really didnt get that messy...

Actully now that I think about it....

My cute little Sophie!

He got to have two little partys. His Aunt Kimber and Uncle Chis came to this one... they must really love my kids!

His sisters helped him open his present.

We got him this cute little rocking horse! I thought it would be a little bigger then it was. It turned out to be a good thing though, cause he tends to get "bucked off" quiet often.

I love my boy!

How did I get so lucky!?

October

October is always a fun month. We went to a pumpkin patch with aunt Kimber.

This is Baileys favorite pose.

Look at those chubby checks!

Its so funny to see him with long hair. It almost looks like a hair piece, it was shortly after this that he got his first real hair cut.

Sophie picking out her pumpkin

My kiddos!

This is Baileys little preschool class on their Halloween Party

Bailey was a beautiful princess fairy!

You probably cant really tell but that is a really cool spider hair clip that I made for her, in purple of course....

My cute little lady bug! She wasn't so happy about me dressing her up!Although I was able to catch a smile or two.

Such a cute pooh bear! Sadly his head was too big for the costume and I couldn't zip it all the way up in the back, but he still looks cute.

Oh yes he did....

Good thing Dax had "options", for the actual Halloween night he was a jester. He was also a "doctor in training" at one point, but I didn't get a picture, of course.

We went to Farmington for Halloween and trick or treated in pouring rain, but we did go around the block before we called it done and then we had a party at my sisters house and we all got to make yummy Carmel apples that we dipped in oreos, snickers, sprinkles and or butterfingers... so good!

and this would be my crazy brother and his wife, who happened to be pregnant, not that you can tell... She scared Sophie so bad. She went and got changed and walked out of the bathroom and around the corner and who was the first person she ran into, Sophie, and she (Sophie) screamed at the top and her lungs and ran to the first person she found, by bro in law (who she usually avoids) and clung on for dear life.

More fun times...

Just a couple more posts and I should be all caught up... for now anyways.
My Kids love their dad! Once he walks through the door they are all demanding his attention, and they wrestle and they play, they have so much fun together. Kyle you are such a good dad, we are lucky to have you!

Oh my Sophie... How I love her spunk! I think her new nick name should be "me too" that is the story of her life right now. What ever Bailey has or is doing, then Sophie wants to do it too. Shes a good little girl and is very loving. I just wish I had more one on one time to give to her.

Bailey has always been a sweet heart, and she is so good with her little sister, they are starting to play pretend more and more together and it is so fun to watch .

These are some picture of a day we decided to play in the leaves.

Dax was a little unsure what to think about it all at first...

Bailey took these pictures! She loves to take pictures and has asked Santa for a camera for Christmas this year, I think he might be bringing one for her... She also asked for a BIG bean bag, but unfortunately Santa called and told me that he just doesn't have room in his sleigh this year... She took the news okay and has asked for a unicorn pillow pet instead...

Dax is so much fun! He just had his 1st birthday (pictures to follow) it goes by so fast. He is now walking all over, its still a little shaky but he is getting really good at it.

He is also getting into everything! I put my bucket of flour (with out the lid of course) on the floor for a minute not thinking about it and 2 seconds later this is what I found.

So I promptly put the lid back on the bucket but left it down on the floor because I wasn't done using it yet. So one might ask how he went from some flour to....
well this....
need I say more?

We put Bailey in an indoor soccer league this year. Its the first time she has played. She is the only girl on her team, but that doesn't seem to bother her too much. She does... OK.... most of the time she just runs around blowing kisses to Kyle and I. There will be a pack of kids running after the ball and then here comes Bailey kind of dancing her way over waving and blowing kisses... its so funny. I have to remind Kyle that she is only 4 and its okay if she doesn't win (not that they even keep score) He keeps yelling, kick the ball Bailey, focus... Eventually she will run by and put her finger to her mouth and say dad shh.... little does she know this is just the beginning. Poor thing she totally got my attention span, I'm so sorry! Its quite entertaining to watch her play. Although I do have to admit that this last game she did pretty good and she even ran "with the pack" and kicked the ball a couple of times. In an effort to help her be more aggressive Kyle was telling her she just needs to Karate (we had just watched karate kid) her way into the pack of kids and get the ball. Well the next thing we knew she was running around pretending to karate chop everyone... lol... I told Kyle, he needs to be careful what he says...
this is her cute little team

my cute little soccer player...

Honestly I really don't know much about the rules to soccer, other then the obvious ones, I guess we will learn as we go.

We took the kids to see Santa, one of Kyles favorite things to do... not really. We thought for sure that Sophie would freak out, but she did really well and she even told him what she wanted for Christmas... nany! otherwise known as candy. She still only asks for candy. Smarties are her favorite, she takes after her Nana on that one. We only had to wait about an hour in line this year.
The first 15 min or so of the line was outside, and it was freezing cold.

Dax was not about to wait in line for that long so we took turns playing on the side with him.
He kept trying to crawl under the ropes and get to Santa.
And when we got closer he was waving to him... it was so cute

I swear I left the room for 2 seconds to grab something, I came back and this is what I found (that's Oreo by the way) again I ask how did this happen....

need I say more?

For Thanksgiving we took the kids to build a bear. Sophie always tries to steal Baileys dog so now she has her own, she loves it.

and Bailey got this rabbit, which she has named "little baby unicorn!"
