Christmas Day

Well we had a fun Christmas. This year we were with my family in Veyo. It was a little crazy trying to fit in our car with two kids and all of Christmas, but we made it and it was so nice to be with family!

My sister and her family were there also and her kids were up and ready to go at about 6 am but Bailey was still asleep and she usually doesn't do well if you wake her up and I wanted her to enjoy Christmas so we were waiting for her wake up. The rule is that no one is allowed to see what Santa brought until everyone is ready so we waited until about 7:30 by then Paula's kids were going crazy so I woke Bailey up and she did surprisingly well.
Sophie had been up for a while but she was cool with just waiting. My mom "took one for the team" and held Sophie while we all opened up presents. I was helping Bailey and Kyle had the camera(thus no pictures of Kyle) My Dad had just had surgery on the 23rd, they replaced his shoulder (all those years of football finally caught up to him) So if you were wondering were his arm was, its in a sling secured to him.
Baileys main gift was a stroller, cradle, car seat set that had a matching baby, its so cute, you can kind of see it and a "poochy pup" shes holding it, its a purse with a dog in it. She really likes dogs these days. Santa treated her well this year!
This is her giving Santa a kiss!

And here is my cute little Sophie!

This is her first Christmas outfit, note the reindeer slippers. Kyle said the outfit looked kind of boyish so we threw on the headband and flower. She totally pulled off the look!
Hope you all had a great Christmas too.

Christmas Card

Merry Christmas!
I had every intention of making and sending out Christmas cards this year, but it didn't happen... So Better late then never right? These are just some I made playing with a program and I couldn't decide which one I liked the best so I decided to post them all, why not right? Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Wish you the best in the new year!

Sophies Blessing Day

We blessed Sophie over thanksgiving weekend up in Pioche. I forgot to take pictures that day so these are a little bit late. Kyle's Grandma Donohue, Sophie's great-grandma made (crocheted) Sophie's dress for her. I love it, Sophie is so lucky to have such a beautiful dress that was made by her great grandma just for her, what an heirloom. Grandma Donohue is a very talented lady and Sophie was lucky enough to get a blanket too, its the one in the picture, it is way pretty. We had a lot of family there, thanks to all our family for making the trip, it made it a very special day for Sophie.

( This isn't the best picture but it shows her hair)

So I couldn't resist getting Bailey a white dress too, she looks so cute in it. Did I mention that I was taking these picture by my self, Kyle was at work. I took about 50 of them and managed to get a few goods ones out of the bunch, Bailey was so tired she didn't really want to cooperate.

This is Great Grandpa and Grandma Donohue (the one who made the dress). We got to spend some time with them while we were there. We always enjoy there company, they are great people. Thanks again for the beautiful dress!

Santa

We took Bailey to see Santa last weekend. I really hadn't talked to her about Santa before we got there and so we weren't sure how she would react. I tried to explain Santa to her and I asked her if she would sit on his lap and take a picture and she said "O-Tay." So we headed up there and she did really well. She didn't cry, scream or even squirm and she even kind of smiled. She was so brave!

So Tired!

So the other night/morning Bailey decided to wake up WAY too early! She insisted on watching a carcoe (cartoon) and so I turned one on with the sound off. Well this is what Kyle found when he got up. Both of us crashed, I think there should be a rule against two year olds waking up before eight, let alone before five!

Sophie is a month old!

It is amazing to me how fast time goes by! I cant believe my little Sophie is a month old already! We went to the doctor today and she is now 9 lbs 4 oz, shes getting big! By the way I am glad that I don't have to give birth to 9lb babies. She is a good baby, and she may turn out to be a red head, maybe. We love her. The girls and I are having fun, enjoying life and have even made it out of the house by ourselves a few times! Poor Bailey is SO sick of the house and even though I intend to go out during the day it really doesn't happen too often, but we will get to that point eventually, maybe! :)

Tu-Tu Cute!

Well we had a really fun weekend out in Pioche. Aunt Kimber made the girls some Tu-Tu's and they turned out sooo cute! Here is Sophie sporting hers. Bailey loved hers so much, she wore it everyday all day, during her nap, at meal time, playtime and she tried to wear it while she took her bath, but that's where I drew the line. We also blessed Sophie while we were out there but I was so frazzled that I forgot to take any pictures, so I am in the process of gathering them from other sources. I will post them when I get them. Her dress was soo pretty and she was way cute. I also added just some fun pictures.

Bailey loves her Uncle Chris, the poor guy was bossed around by her all weekend... he handled it well.

My cute little Sophie!

I cant believe how big Bailey is getting!

This is Kiesha (the dog) and Bailey loves her.

Sophie and Grandma took a break together!

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy thanksgiving! It has been a good holiday for us. We headed out to Pioche for the weekend. Its nice to get out of the city every once in a while. Hope you all enjoy your holiday!

So I have been really into making hair things lately. I mainly do flower clips but I found a picture of this turkey clip (if you couldn't tell what it was) in a magazine and I just couldn't resist I had to make it. I thought it turned out cute and even though it can really only be worn once a year it was totally worth it.
Sophie pimping it in her Thanksgiving outfit that her Papa bought her.

So it is quite a bit colder in Pioche then Vegas and Bailey wanted to go for a four wheeler ride so we bundled up and Kyle took her out. Due to the for layers of clothing she couldn't really move, it was pretty funny. This is her trying to wave, that was the most she could move her arms.

Kyle and Bailey having fun in the leaves!
