We had our ultrasound...

We are having a BOY!!!

We had our ultrasound today and we are having a boy... yeah!! Kyle said he has never been so nervous in his life!:) Needless to say he has been smiling all day! We are very excited, although I dont really know anything about boys... and everything we own is pink... bring it on! Oh and everything looks good so far, which is always a relief, so now it is just a waiting game. We asked Bailey what she wanted a boy or a girl before we went in and she said a baby brother... and the whole time we were waiting she kept talking about her baby brother and we tried to tell her that it could be a girl, but she asured us it was a baby brother... luckily we dont have to disapoint her. One more time... YEAH!

Happy 4th!

Hope you all had a good holiday weekend. We ended up going to Pioche for a fun filled weekend which included, picking lots of cherries, eating lots of cherries, playing golf, which kyle and I won by the way :), and playing, playing, playing. It was a lot of fun. All of Kyles family ended up being there, which made it even better! I forgot my camera though, no surprise there, but Kimber has some fun pics on her blog. So here are just a few random ones that I thought were fun.

Why is she soo happy...

Need I say more?
Bathing beauties! The girls love to go swimming!

Okay so I just have to brag on Kyle a little bit, hope he doesn't mind. When we got home Kyle had a letter from the engineering department letting him know he had made the Deans list. He said it was no big deal but I think its pretty awesome! Honestly I am just proud of him in general.

Bailey loves to play dress up. I couldn't find her tiara so we improvised with a huge flower. It works... She is also really into making silly faces, this is one of her favorite ones to do.

Here she is talking on the phone with her pa pa. She loves to chat on the phone!

Time to come clean

Well I guess it is time to come clean about something... at this point I don't know who I have told and who I have not, who knows and who doesn't, or who cares and who doesn't... so I am just going to throw it out there... Kyle and I are now expecting our third child!!! That's right, I am prego again. It all started about Easter weekend I had the cold/flu that was going around but was getting over it so we decided to travel to see family. I was sitting in my moms kitchen and just kind of thinking out loud said, "man this flu feels a lot like when I am pregnant." Everyone stopped and looked at me... (nervous laugh) "but I'm not!... at least I shouldn't be... Its just the flu right?" Famous last words. Kyle, bless his heart, was instantly nervous I tried to reassure him but I had my doubts. Just for the record Kyle has gotten all nervous and worried with each pregnancy, something about the overwhelming feeling that you now have another one to provide for... but it always works out and he always relaxes, eventually. So we went home, took the test and I came out of the bathroom laughing and then we just sat up all night in shock looking at each other... needless to say we were not expecting this one, but unexpected does not mean its unwanted! Now that the initial shock has worn off we are both really excited. Kyle is hoping that the third time is the charm and he will finally get his boy. His theory is that we are now off of the "girl cycle" and hopefully joined the "boy cycle" (they seem to come in groups around here) but I keep telling him not to get his hopes up I just have a feeling its another girl... but we shall see. I am fine with either, to be honest a boy kind off scares me I know girls but again either one is fine with me. I am due December 14th (poor kid December b-day) and we have an ultra sound set July 23rd, so the count down is officially on. You are probably thinking wow, Sophie and the new baby are going to be really close and you are right they will be 13months apart. I figure we just have to make it through the first year and then it will be smooth sailing, in theory... Its going to be a crazy month for us we will be having our third baby, Kyle will be graduating (wahoo!!!) which means a new job which could mean a new town, new house, packing, moving, unpacking, newborn... it could get a little crazy, but hey bring it on! I am ready!... will be ready... hopefully... Wish me luck!

Happy Fathers Day

Can you tell who her daddy is? Happy fathers day Kyle! Thanks for all you do, we all sure love you!

Kyle is such a good dad. It doesn't matter how busy or tired, (between work, school, church calling... etc...) he is if his girls need attention he is there for them, and they love it! We couldn't ask for a better daddy!

This was Sophie's first time in the trailer she neither loved nor hated it.

I cant believe how big the girls are getting. We are having a lot of fun. I am having a hard time being motivated to blog because it takes SO long to to download my pics. but ah well! Bailey is so much fun. Its just the two of us for breakfast and lunch and so we will sit down to eat and she will look at me and smile and say, "so, how you doin'?" and I say good how are you and she'll say, "good" and then she will start giggling. She is obsessed with birthdays. She loves to sing the birthday song, we called our grandpas for fathers day and she was telling them happy fathers day but it turned into a version of happy birthday. Anytime she wants to get something she will say, "its for my birthday." I hope she is always spunky!

Sophie is now 7 months old and has one tooth, the other one is trying but just wont break through.
Can you see the tooth?

I love that Bailey is such a good sister. The other day we were just waking up and watching a little PBS and they were holding hands. It was so cute.

Sophie is such a squirmy worm... she totally wants to go but her body is not cooperating which leads to a lot of frustration for her, I just keep telling her is she would just learn to crawl she would be a lot happier. I don't remember Bailey being so social and wanting to be in the middle of everything, maybe she was... nap time is a challenge for Sophie. If there is anything going on she will refuse to hold still long enough to sleep, not that she is happy while she is doing it, which leads to a lot of frustration for me. Trying to get her to nap during church is a joke... WAY to much going on there, but we are having fun, she is a good natured baby and loves to laugh. So far she has been a mamma's girl but she is starting to figure out that daddy means fun. Bailey has been a daddy's girls for a long time.

We are the Champions!!!

Okay so awhile back our stake had a basketball tournament for the men in the stake. Kyle played awesome and was definitely a key player on the team. I told Kyle he couldn't play if he was going to talk trash and cause issues, its not that he would do it to be rude but he finds it funny to irritate the other players but I just find it stressful. So he was really good and rarely said anything to the other team even so he still had people that wanted to "meet him in the parking lot" ... seriously its church ball, but whatever. In the end he "let his skills do the talking" and his team took the championship. I was so proud of him and had meant to post something but never got around to it so... Congrats babe!

But now on to the good stuff! So they followed the basketball with volleyball for the women in the stake. I was so happy, I totally miss playing organized sports even though I am not even close to what I once was it is still so fun. We have been playing for a few weeks and last night wrapped it up with a tournament. So this is how it played out. Our first game there was only three of us there and we played a team of six and just barely lost 20-25 it was a double elimination tournament so that put us into the losers bracket. Well after winning the next three games, two of them in a row, fighting our way back we found ourselves in the championship game facing the team we lost to on the first round. Because it was a double elimination if we were to win it all we had to beat them twice. At this point I was so tired, sadly my stamina is not what it once was. It looked like a huge task! We had five players now, a couple more had come. So we went to work, and some how we did it we beat them twice!! It was AWESOME! Go Laurelwood!! Thank goodness Kyle was there he was so motivating, I knew he really wanted us to win! He told me he hasn't been that nervous in a long time. I know I was totally nervous watching him pay his game! He was not only cheerleader but also babysitter, he was helping with all the babies while the moms played, Kyle you are amazing thank you so much for your love and support!. I am so sore today but it was totally worth it. Now I have a "Stake Championship" to add to my state championships. So just one more time... Go Laurelwood!!!

How time flies!

So I have been meaning to post forever now and I just keep putting it off so I am a little behind. First off Sophie is getting so big! This was her five month picture! She is starting to get mobile. She is not quite crawling yet but she can scoot and roll to reach what she wants. She loves to play with paper and does not like it when you take it away from her.

She loves her sister! Bailey can make her laugh like no body else. Sometimes I will be holding them both on my lap and Bailey will do something Sophie finds funny and the next thing I know we are all laughing its so much fun.

Here is a special moment with her Daddy!

I love Bailey so much she so silly! She is always making me smile! This past weekend Kimber and Chris came to visit and Bailey had so much fun with them. Of course I didn't get any pictures but Kimber has some way cute ones on her blog. You can find a link to the right. Baileys new thing she likes to do is play hid and seek. She will start to count then say "ready me not here me come!" She was playing with Chris and it was his turn to find her and he was calling "Bailey where are you...?" and she would answer I'm in here! Then he would say are you on your bed? and she would yell no I'm in my closet! It was so cute.

We started Sophie on cereal, this was her first time. She did pretty good!

Such a good daddy!

Some play time!

Sophie is actually Six months old now... it goes so fast! These are her six month pictures! Bailey was dancing and making Sophie laugh for these pictures!

Such cute girls!

We had a good Easter too but I forgot my camera as usuall and so I have to get pictures from others, if I ever get them I will post some! And yes I know some pictures are sideways but oh well you get the idea!
