photo shoot!

So I have been having so much fun with my new camera the only problem is finding the time to edit the pics. These are some of the kids before we left Vegas.
These were Daxtons one month pictures.

He is totally GQ in these pics, it cracks me up!

Such a cutie!

OK, so this picture didn't totally work out but I loved the look on his face.
These are some of the girls I took before church one day. They weren't totally cooperative, but we managed to get a few good ones. Getting ones of them together is almost impossible!

She reminds me of a little mini model!

In retrospect, using a white vignette my not have been the best choice for her skin tone! :)

sometimes she is such a ham!

I LOVE this picture!

I thought this was a fun way to color the pic.

So silly!

For those of you who have seen Madagascar 2 you will appreciate the next two pictures.

Not too bad for not really knowing what I am doing!

christmas...

We had a really fun Christmas this year!
These first two are pictures that I took with my new camera Kyle got me for Christmas. It has been a lot of fun, I have been going a little crazy with the picture taking, but why not right?

Bailey totally scored this year! This is her sporting some of her new dress ups!

She got a really fun princess vanity, which Sophie thinks is hers too.

We ... I mean Santa, got her this really fun Dora scooter, sadly it broke about the 2nd time she used it so Santa gave us the recite to exchange it for a new one and all they had left were princess ones, but Bailey wasn't too bugged. Its fun the watch her ride the scooter, she is still getting comfortable with it, she goes REALLY slow.
Sophie got this fun Elmo kitchen. Funny thing is it will just randomly start talking or singing a song and I think by the time everyone went home they had enough of Elmo. Sophie likes it though.
This was the night before Christmas, Bailey helped Nana make some cookies for Santa. It was really cute, they put them on a plate with a glass of milk. The first thing Bailey did when she woke up was check the plate and she was so excited to see that Santa had eaten it all and he had even left her a note!

Here are all the grand babies on Kyles side! I have decided its just as hard to get a good picture with the four of them on Kyles side as it is to take a picture with the 26 grand babies on my side!

This was the night before we each got to open up one present, which were all P.J.s you cant really tell but Daxton's jamies say "naughty" on the bum, they were way cute!

This was pretty much what Dax did the whole time, I cant believe how little he is in these pictures, he has grown so much since then!

I love this picture, daddy and his girls! Overall it was a great Christmas!

little by little

Well I am so far behind I am not sure if I will ever get caught back up but I am going to try! These are some fun pictures of just after Daxton was born.

Sophie loves to kiss Dax, she will come kiss him every once in a while and then shes good to go again. She has never shown anything but love towards him, if only that would last...

Bailey loves her baby brother! She like to talk to him, and kiss him and hold him. She loves it when he looks at her and smiles! (yes he's smiling now, and will be puting those pics up).
who is that sexy guy!?!

Catching up!!

Well we have had a busy month. First of all here are a few more pictures of our little guy. (For some reason it is not letting me rearrange my pictures so they are going backwards.) Daxton joined our family on the 10th and he has been a joy to have. He is a really good baby and his sisters love him... maybe too much. This is a picture of him getting ready to leave the hospital.
A couple days later, chillin at the house.

Kyles parents came to watch the girls and Sophie really attached to Papa.

Sophie loves the baby, she gets excited every time she sees him. She just wants give him a kiss and then she is good. It was just recently that she has decided to pull out his Binky every time she can.
Bailey of course LOVES her baby brother! She is the one who named him. We were driving home one day and I asked her what we should name him and she said, "Daxton." or that is what I interpreted it as. At first we just brushed it off, but the closer it got the more we liked it. It really came down to three names and so we put them all in a hat and believe it or not Daxton is the name I drew out. So between that and his sister coming up with it we decided it must be a sign and decided to go with it.

Everyone thinks that he looks like my dad, I have to agree they are similar, they have the same hair line... they also say he looks like Richard, who looks like my dad as well, they have the same hair line... :) Just kidding.

Disclaimer: You are not allowed to pass judgement on my appearance since this is right after he was born.

This is us leaving for the hospital, its so crazy how one day you have a belly and the next day its gone.
We have had some other fun things going on and since we got rid of our Internet and I have been a little busy lately I am a little behind so here is a bit of a catch up. Bailey has been in a dance class and they had there little dance review this month. They were puppy dogs and they danced to how much is that dogie in the window.

They turn and shake their tails in their dance, Bailey loves to shake her booty, it was so cute.

One of our Christmas traditions has been to visit the Ethel M chocolate factory, they have a big cactus garden which they decorate with a ton of lights and they have Santa and you can tour the factory and you get a piece chocolate at the end of it and the best part is that its all free. We went before thanksgiving so there were no lines, it was awesome.
This is Sophie at the end of the tour, I gave her her piece of chocolate and then got distracted and by the time a realized what I had done, well this was the result!
Out enjoying the lights.

That was as close as Sophie would get to Santa. Bailey however loves Santa and he is all she has talked about this whole month, more on that when I get my Christmas post up.

Daxton Paul Donohue

On December 10th, Eva and I walked into the hospital at 5pm, by time she was all set up and ready to go it was about 6:30. Then @ 11:40 pm we welcomed the newest member of our family.

.................Daxton Paul Donohue...........

Daxton was 7 lbs & 9 ozs, he was also 19 inches long. He is healthy and already has more hair than his dad.
Both of Daxtons older sisters are just in love with him. They are constantly wanting to hold him and kiss him. And with those good looks he better get use to it.
Eva is doing very well. She to is healthy and trying to recover from the whole labor thing. She is one great mom.
I am, as people have told me, walking a little taller now that I have my boy. I love my girls so much, but I it is fun to have a little man in the house.
We could not be any more happy.

Due to me getting rid of the internet in our home, Eva will post more pics and blog more when she gets a chance.

Welcome to our Home Daxton we love you !!!!!!!!!!!!!
